My Favorite Scripture Verse †: Philippians 4: 4-7. “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.  Do not be anxious about anything but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And, the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and mind in Christ Jesus.

Raised in the Detroit area until age 17, I went off to Kent State University, obtained a degree on an athletic scholarship, and returned back to Detroit to start a career.

Over the years, work has landed me in several other states:  Indiana, Arizona, and Arkansas in addition to an overseas posting in Germany for two years before landing in FL just over 8 years ago. I have two daughters, ages 19 and 21, both graduates from Naples High School.  My journey to accept Christ was a process: After attending a church service while on vacation in Florida at the age of 45, the preaching struck a nerve in my consciousness and my curiosity led me to read the book “A Case for Christ” by Lee Strobel.

In turn, I started picking up the bible to see for myself what Jesus had to say. In so doing, the Holy Spirit eventually led me to my conversion and baptism in the year of 2000.

Today, at age 69, I am still working full time, currently employed by a Canadian company as their Director of New Business Development.

I attend several Bible studies or men’s groups weekly such as GAP, MIM, and others as my schedule allows, enjoying the fellowship, learning and instruction. For recreation, I enjoy golf, swimming, walking, and hitting the gym.

I have been a member of Tree Of Life Church and Generation Next and enjoy serving the Lord by simply witnessing wherever possible, helping those who are in need, and studying the Word daily.
